Nyalic “GREEN” Liquid Quart HBI400 (0.94litres)

Nyalic formula HBI400, (we call it Nyalic Green), was developed to be authorised for delivery into California. There is no change to the formulation of the Nyalic protective product, just a change to the solvent that is used to facilitate the application of Nyalic. There are some changes to the liquid,being slightly more viscous, (allowing for a thicker application) and faster cure time.

About Nyalic HBI400 Green Liquid

We have found that the HBI400 faster cure time has both positive and negative implications depending on the application in hand. A faster cure can cause striping or streaking when applying to larger projects, hence we recommend our boat builders continue to use the HBI-101 formula

A quart is quarter of 1 US Gallon and is 0.94 litres

We have many examples of using this formula on large boats and machinery with brilliant results

Nyalic quart will offer coverage of up to 27.9m² (300ft²)

As Nyalic Green (Formula HBI-400) solvent is less harmful to health some users find this significantly beneficial, however we still recommend you use a respirator rated A1 or above like our own P-A-1 full face and half face masks

What is Nyalic?

Nyalic ® is a clear, one-part, solvent-based, non-conductive polymer coating that meets stringent VOC requirements. It is suitable for use on a range of interior, exterior and submerged surfaces.

Is Nyalic a wax or a polish?

No. Nyalic is a blend of several polymeric resins.

Is Nyalic a clear coat?

Yes, Nyalic is a clear coat, but it is not like the clear coats that are used as part of a clear coat/base coat system like those used on new automobiles.
