Description
NYALIC 340g (12-OZ) NYALIC AEROSOL

Nyalic 340g aerosol is specifically designed to be for small projects, or to facilitate getting into those hard to get to spaces that still require protection. We find these very useful for radiators and electrical installations that requre protection in harsh environments. The aerosol works very well on its own, or in combination with our liquid applications (both HBI101 and HBI400 formulas)
…up to 8.8m² coverage…
Nyalic® Aerosol Can – 12 oz Covers up to 8.8m² per can as each coat of Nyalic is very thin, so application goes much further than a standard spray point aerosol can
We recommend you use a respirator rated A1 or above like our own P-A-1 full face and half face masks
NYALIC AEROSOL CLEARCOAT AND PREPARATION PRODUCTS
Developed over 50 years ago for the Apollo space program, Nyalic aerosol is more than a clear coat surface protectant. It is a high-performance technology developed to protect metal and painted surfaces from corrosion in the most extreme environments. This is why it is perfect for use in the marine environment and recommended by Ocean Footprint

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Nyalic?
Nyalic ® is a clear, one-part, solvent-based, non-conductive polymer coating that meets stringent VOC requirements. It is suitable for use on a range of interior, exterior and submerged surfaces.
Is Nyalic a wax or a polish?
No. Nyalic is a blend of several polymeric resins.
Is Nyalic a clear coat?
Yes, Nyalic is a clear coat, but it is not like the clear coats that are used as part of a clear coat/base coat system like those used on new automobiles.
What are the benefits of Nyalic?
- Protects and seals metal surfaces to prevent corrosion, staining, tarnish, fingerprints and smudges. It provides protection against chemicals, including acids, salts, potash, urea, fertilizer, fly ash, lime, salt water, sea air and harsh chemical cleansers.
- Highly resistant to ultraviolet rays
- Protects paint against oxidation
- Remains clear – does not yellow
- Resists dirt and repels water
- Withstands temperatures up to (350°F) (177°C) and under 0°F (-18°C)
- Remains thermally stable and flexes with the host substrate to prevent cracking and peeling
- Self-levels for easy repair
What are the proven uses of Nyalic?
- Nyalic® is proven for a range of surfaces including:
- Metals such as steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze, aluminium and silver

How to Apply Nyalic:
Five Easy Steps
Easy-to-use clear-coat that provides corrosion and rust protection against fertilizer, salt, urea, phosphate, ammonia, potash, lime, acids, animal manure and urine, saltwater and other corrosive chemicals
Step One: Remove panels
Remove all panels from your machine, take care to avoid scratching the panels when placing them down
Step Two: PREP & WASH
Apply our Simple Prep™ solution. Scrub and thoroughly rinse
Then, wash with our Right Rinse™ neutralizing cleanser and set the machine aside to dry overnight
If the equipment is not new and there is oxidisation on a surface then consider using our Tuff Prep™(gel) mild deoxidizing cleaning product before the Simple Prep™
Step three: Tape & Mask
Tape up and mask off glass and chromed hydraulic rods (we find tin foil/ turkey foil to be great at covering the hydraulic rams) – coating the rams could damage the hydraulic ram seals if any particles dry in the finish
Step four: APPLY NYALIC
Apply Nyalic aerosol to all critical internal components and use a spray gun for coating larger areas. We find foam rollers are great for covering large areas with the liquid
Step Five: Mission accomplished
Congratulations! Now your machine is protected inside and out
