CEM – Axial Fan Vibration Mounts

Flexible vibration damping ring, made of EPDM rubber, with a double internal flange made of stainless steel, commonly used to absorb the vibrations and consequently to reduce the noise level generated when the blower is working. Designed specifically to match the flange and hole pattern fitting on the CEM – VE and VEX axial fan range.

The noise and vibration produced from an axial fan can be caused by a number of factors including the balancing of the blades and non uniform air flows on the inlet side of the fan. All of our fans are dynamically and statically balanced before shipment, however the disruption caused by the fast rotation of the blades can cause vibration in operation. The “ANV” rubber mount allows for the absorbtion of vibrations in the motors operation, and also vibrations and movemet always present in a moving vessel such as yaw, pitch and roll.

The design of the damping ring also allows for a much easier installation on site.
