CEM – Dual Water Pressure Systems

CEM – Dual Water Pressure Systems composed of 2 self-priming electric pumps made of stainless steel type J-INOX or MG-INOX (suitable for fresh water), or 2 self priming electric pumps made in bronze type JBR (suitable for freshwater and seawater), widely used in the marine field to grant a proper and constant water pressure for all on board appliances such as: showers, kitchen, washbasins, toilets, etc.

The use of our double pressure systems series GD-J, GD-MG and GD-JBR allows for a higher water flow than the traditional pressure systems, as the two pumps made in d.c., a.c., or mixed (d.c + a.c) can work either simultaneously or singularly

For the most effective operation of the Dual Water Pressure System, it is recommended to install an accumulator tank

The accumulator size determines the pressure storage on the system, so the larger the accumulator can reduce the cycling “switching on and off” of the pump for small uses such as flushing of a toilet in the night, and can improve the experience on board. Additional accumulators are available for purchase and can be added at any part of the water system and can help to reduce pressure drops across the system caused by multiple outlets being opened at once

Composition of the Dual Water Pressure Systems

Our double pressure group have a standard fitting of :

• 2 Self-priming pumps type “J-INOX”, “MG-INOX” or “JBR” (voltages and performances as shown in the table below)
• 4 Ball valves (2 on the inlet, 2 on the outlet)
• 2 Check (Non-return) valves in the inlet
• 2 Manual restarting pressure or Electronic switches
• 1 Pressure gauge
• Manifolds made of stainless steel
• “Omega” antivibration base made of stainless steel

Scope of Operation:

• Liquid, free of solid impurities
• Temperature range of the liquid: from +0 to +50 °C ( + 70°C for series GD-JBR)
• Static pressure inside the pump body: 6 bar max.

Accessories:

• Cylindrical tank made in painted steel or stainless steel with capacity from 20 litres to 500 litres
• Pressure reducing valve (this could be necessary if the maximum pressure of an outlet or calorifier is lower than the system maximum pressure
