environmental responsibilities

BSB Engineering Services Limited occupied the new premises at 56 Trinity Trade Centre Mill Way during August 2013. The new premises has 48,000 sq. feet of factory floor area bringing the original three separate manufacturing units under one roof

BSB are very much aware of their environmental responsibilities and consideration to using minimal energy and having lower emissions formed part of their design specification criteria for unit 56

build-to-order flow manufacturing

The factory captures heat produced from compressors, welding bays and other machinery and integrates this with fresh air intakes to condition the air providing a clean and comfortable working environment. Factory and office lighting and space heating is operated via occupancy sensors, using energy only when it is required

The factory has been purposely designed with build-to-order flow manufacturing where raw steel materials enter the production area and through engineered processes, the final assembled damper arrives in the structured despatch area ready for loading that night for next day delivery to most areas

The inclusion of in-house production of components and sub-components allows for greater flexibility and response times to higher-order volumes at peak times
