Caminus CV

Post Marine Diesel Boilers - Caminus Calorifier Boilers
Post Marine Diesel Boilers – Caminus Calorifier Boiler

This model is just a boiler. It has the heating only capability and assumes that it either is heating only a hot water circuit or hot water tank. Alternatively, it could be part of a system where the controls are supplied by the installer. It reacts to an on-off signal supplied by the factory supplied Siemens thermostat and 7-day timer. What is more simple than that, a boiler with a 10-year warranty, running from the boats own existing fuel tank

The Caminus CV without hot water supply is characterised by its compactness and multifunctional and very powerful operational features.

Caminus with Calorifier take off

This model is has the diverter valve attached to be able to offer heating loop and hot water loop to heat a hot water tank or calorifier. It reacts to an on-off signal supplied by the factory supplied Siemens thermostat and 7-day timer where the hot water can be set independently of the heating. Heat Load Calculations for your boiler system

Heating System Calculation Table (Click to open in a new page)

The capacity required for a CH system and radiators
can be calculated as follows:

  1. Work out the volume of the areas to be heated in cubic metres (LxWxH)

  2. Multiply the calculated volumes with the values from the table on the left

  3. This gives you the required capacity for each area

  4. Add together all calculated/required capacities

  5. Add 10% to the total boiler capacity

  6. This gives you the total required capacity of the system in Watts

  7. Add 15% to the total boiler capacity when the central heating system is connected in combination with underfloor heating

Post Marine Heating BV began production on central heating systems for motorboats and yachts. Now Post Marine Heating is a modern manufacturer of oil and diesel-fired central heating boilers for continuous use, designing, building and selling a wide variety of boilers for yachts, trucks, businesses and homes. In addition to the ordinary central heating systems, we also supply combi-boilers and combination boiler central heating systems. Post Marine Heating is a Dutch manufacturer of oil-fired central-heating systems for daily use. Thanks to our innovation, the long lifespan and our excellent service. Due to new technology the oil-fired central-heating systems are now also clean, economic and silent. In addition, they are also small, which can be seen in our most recent fully automatic diesel-fired Smart Line models. Post central heating systems can be continuously used and have an average lifespan of about 15 years or more, and they offer a 10-year warranty on the boiler body. Post boilers work with conventional fuels such as diesel, oil, home heating oil or new fuels like clean biofuels. For yachts, ships, campers or tailor-made orders, Post supplies a wide variety of boilers and accessories. Feel free to ask us for advice

At Post Marine Heating BV (founded in 2010) we have perfected the design of our Caminus series for three years before we put it into production in our own factory in Gorinchem. However, we are not standing still and continue to look for ways to further improve our ship heating. We work closely with the knowledge & expertise of Post Metal Processing BV, the supplier for your end product, semi-finished product or laser cutting
